The Stibbard Centenary Orchard was created on part of an allotment site owned and managed by The Stibbard Parochial Charity. It is located at the end of Moor End Lane and was opened on Sunday 28th October 2018 by General The Lord Dannat GCB CBE MC DL. Initially, 19 fruit trees were sponsored by villagers and they are dedicated to Stibbard villagers who served in the First World War. Ten individual trees were planted to remember the ten men from Stibbard who lost their lives and whose names are recorded on the War Memorial. Another nine trees remember the 45 who safely returned. During 2023 the orchard will be extended to include a further nine trees. It will feature a memorial to another villager who was killed in the Second World War. As well as the areas of orchard the site includes an open area with two stone seats and retains worked allotments and areas maintained as natural meadow. Management of the site aims to support wildlife and it has been registered under Butterfly Conservation's recently launched "Wild Spaces" project
